The Duress App is the software half of a safety platform where the worst-case scenario is the product spec. When a worker slides to alert, the app has to capture location, open the audio path and reach the monitoring centre - reliably, fast, and without draining the battery in the background the other 99.9% of the time. You'll own that experience on iPhone.
What you'll do
- Own the alarm path: activation, location, audio, delivery - the code that runs when everything else is going wrong
- Ship Swift daily across safety timers, check-ins and background location
- Sweat battery impact, connectivity fallbacks and the milliseconds between alert and monitored
- Work directly with the monitoring partner and hardware teams on end-to-end reliability
What you bring
- Deep Swift and iOS platform experience - background execution, CoreLocation, push, audio
- A reliability mindset; you test the failure paths first
- Shipped apps in production at real scale
